its a different world that sucks you in and its hard to escape.

surrounded by cigarette smoke and tall skinny pretty fob girls that make you wanna lose weight.

people drink alcohol like water and though you see girls throwing up in the bathroom, you feel pressured to keep up with everyone at the table.. don’t ever refuse a shot of soju cuz you’ll lose the argument and drink anyways. it’s the worst when someone says “you’re not down”

LA tells you that the night ends at 2am but in ktown, nights don’t end. you stay up til  the sun comes up because of all the after hour bars

you bump into people who seem to have too many mutual friends with you and everyone seems to know everyone.

its repetitive, with no room for change. its predictable

hard drugs aren’t so apparent but its readily available when you wanna look for it

ktown is isolated, most don’t know about the “valley” or the “glendale/pasadena/la canada” areas. then again, most of the people from those areas come down to ktown to party.

its called ktown, but really, you don’t ever need to speak korean well haha
